Other Geotechnical Engineering Techniques

There are a number of other techniques offered by members to deal with specific engineering situations and ground conditions, these include Ground Anchors (which can be used to support retaining walls or slopes), Drilling / Grouting (for infilling former underground workings), Soil Nails (slope stability problems), Cut off barriers (control of leachate and other environmental considerations).
